Overthinking while at the mall
So after sleeping a huge portion of the day away due to jet lag, I head out to Conestoga Mall to get up and moving.
While wandering, I notice two very closely related items. 1. A Best Buy Mobile is opening right next to The Telephone Booth. I am sured that the Telephone Booth people are thrilled with their landlord for that one. It’s not like the old days when they sold a large selection of landline phones. “Why not just move the Wireless Wave kiosk in front of here while you’re at it?” is what I would have said if I were the person representing that store while talking to mall management, and also if I were a jerk in my business methods.
2. The white board enticing people into The Telephone Booth was offering a free PS3 with specific phones. That’s a good plan for a store with a direct competitor opening up next door: free identity theft risk with purchase.
